HOUSEKEEPING
1. If you go out to eat, you must bring money to pay for your own food. At Denny's on Friday, Mrs. Vandeventer paid out of her own pocket several bills totaling $100 in unpaid food. If this was you, please reimburse her because that is not right!
2. Please act civil in the parking lot for pick up after practice. Wait in a parking spot and DO NOT block the street, exit, or other cars. If we're practicing in the stadium, please allow 15-20 minutes for students to walk back and put away equipment in the band room. After competitions, we will be unloading hauls by the band room, so please avoid waiting along the sidewalk. We are all on the same team!
3. Please be careful what you say in the stands about other student groups. There were rude comments made towards the school dance team and those students and parents overheard it and were extremely upset. This is the same protocol in the stands at competitions. You never know who you're sitting by and it reflects poorly on our organization. If you have any issues about appropriateness, you are always welcome to address those to an administrator.
PHOTO DAY POSTPONED
Photo Day has been moved to Saturday, November 10th because there is a chance that the color guard costumes will not be ready in time. We will still have rehearsal this Saturday from 9AM-5PM.

THE DEADLINE FOR ALL FIELD SHOW PROGRAM ADS IS THIS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH. 100% of the profit from field show ads goes to your student account! Many local businesses are looking for ways to advertise to the community. This is your last opportunity to put a "shout-out" for your son/daughter in the program! Click here to download the form.
2ND DONATION PAST DUE
Please make sure you're caught up on the 1st donation of $150 and 2nd donation of $125. Checks are made payable to "Gahr Band Boosters." If you are making a cash payment, please get a receipt from Mr. Loney before turning it into the Drop Box. You can also make a payment online here. We cannot pay our instructional staff, field show competitions, costumes, or music copyrights without your donation. Please communicate with Mr. Loney if you have any issues with your financial obligation. Thank you.
HAWAII REGISTRATION ON WORLDSTRIDES
Even if you've already paid the $200 deposit, all participants must register on www.worldstrides.com or your payment will not be applied by WorldStrides. Use the Trip ID #166826 for Gahr High School. Insurance is automatically included in the price of the trip. If you prefer not to have insurance, please email Mrs. Varney at dvarney15@gmail.com so that she can have it removed.
