WIND ENSEMBLE @ CAL STATE UNIVERSITY, FULLERTON
Tomorrow the Wind Ensemble will be performing in the CSUF "Festival of Winds" at the Meng Concert Hall. Call time is 9:00AM in the Band Room wearing all black concert attire. This will include a clinic as well as getting to watch the CSUF Wind Symphony.
Concert attire is all black. Black, long sleeve, button-up, collared dress shirt. Black slacks (no jeans or stripes). Black belt for pants. Solid black dress shoes and socks. GIRLS: You have the option of wearing the same attire as the gentlemen OR an all black gown/dress that goes past the knees (NOT A SKIRT). Students that do not have the correct attire may not perform at the concert and will not receive credit.

Please use Gymnasium Drive (see attached map) where there is a bus pullout located near the student recreation center that can accommodate approximately four busses at a time. Once unloaded, Buses can be parked in Lot A located on the north side of campus, near the athletic fields. A campus map is attached for your reference. Note: On Friday, busses must be CA exempt in order to qualify for free parking (this is the case with nearly all school busses).
All other vehicles may park in the Nutwood Parking Structure, but a daily parking permit must be purchased on Friday. Parking is free on Saturday.
WINTER GUARD @ VALENCIA HIGH SCHOOL (WGASC)
3:30pm- Updated Call time. DO NOT BE LATE. Eat a good lunch before you arrive. Meet at Gahr High School IN UNIFORM with warm ups on top, shoes, hair and makeup done. Load floor, props, equipment.
4:00pm- Depart for Valencia High School 500 N Bradford Ave. Placentia, CA 92870
ALL PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO HELP WITH EQUIPMENT AND TAKE/ CARPOOL STUDENTS. DO NOT ASSUME YOUR STUDENT HAS A RIDE.
4:30pm- Arrive at VHS. Unload floor, props, and equipment. Use restroom in groups of 2 or more. Line up and wait for John. Proceed to warm up area.
5:00pm- Warm up.
7:02pm- Perform! (After the performance members must exit the gym, quickly fold the floor and organize equipment as the following group will be exiting the performance area and folding their floor. Parent volunteers needed to lift floor and take it outside.)
7:15pm- Talk, pack up props and equipment, load. During this time eat, relax, and sit together to watch your competitors. Please remember you are representing your school at all times. We are a class act on and off the floor.
8:03pm- Awards. Cheer for Gahr no matter the score or placement.
8:30pm- Depart back to Gahr HS. Once arrived, unload floor, props, equipment. EVERYONE HELPS.
