HOODIES PRE-ORDERS DUE FRIDAY
Get your official Gahr Marching Gladiators hoodie! These hoodies are made of a heavy-weight fabric and oversized cut. Hoodies are $20 for students (boosters are helping offset the cost). They’re are also available for family and friends for just $35. Pre-orders are due this Friday, October 11. Adult sizes S-3XL.
NEWPORT HARBOR FIELD TOURNAMENT 10/12
Call time for Saturday's field tournament is 8:00 a.m. in the GHS Band Room. We will have rehearsal and run-through, load and eat lunch, and then travel by bus to Newport Harbor High School (600 Irvine Avenue, Newport Beach, 92663). Click here to see the show line up.
PARENTS: Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors (please plan on bringing money for admission).
Spectator Parking is available on 16th Street at the east end of the stadium. Show your support by wearing your "OUTBREAK" field show t-shirt! And order a hoodie to wear for our next tournament!
Students need to bring the following:
- Polished, black marching shoes
- Long, black socks (calf-length)
- Plain, white t-shirt
- Compression / PE shorts
- Ties/clips for long hair
- Field Show T-shirt, warm change of clothes / shoes
- Money for dinner ($10-20)
- 1-Gallon Water Jug
- Instrument/equipment, extra reeds, sticks, valve oil, etc.
- Snacks for bus ride
ELECTRONIC RECYCLING 10/19
On Saturday, October 19th we’re doing an Electronic Recycling fundraiser from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Gahr Gym Parking Lot. We’ll accept computers, TVs, printers, microwaves, cables, wires & more! Click here to download the flyer.
MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND NIGHT 10/25!
Spread the word! Middle School Band Night is Friday, October 25th at Gahr High School! Middle School Band Night is our 7th & 8th graders can experience what it’s like to be in a high school marching band for a Friday night football game. They’ll learn a few pep tunes and play in the stands with the band. They’ll also have front-row seats to watch our competitive field show performance. All participating students get a free t-shirt!

SCSBOA HONOR BAND AUDITIONS
Each year the SCSBOA All-Southern California Honor Groups provide the finest young instrumentalists in southern California with opportunities to rehearse with some of the most outstanding music educators in the world.
