THIS IS IT! The culmination of weeks of dedication and hard work! We have two performances this week - our Band Camp Concert & BBQ this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. AND our first Home Football Game this Friday at the Gahr High School Stadium. Please read the following information carefully so your students is prepared for these events.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- All students MUST complete and turn in the Gahr HS Athletics Packet. Get this through Dulce Caldwell in the front office. Students will need to complete a physical that can be done at any walk-in clinic (usually without an appointment) for around $10. If you haven't done the physical, please try to do this around rehearsal (e.g. Thursday morning or Friday afternoon).
- In order to pay our instructional staff on time, all students must turn in a Band Camp Donation of $125. This also includes the cost of your student's 2014 field show t-shirt that we are wearing for the concert and football game. Please speak to Mr. Loney ASAP if you have any difficulties meeting this financial obligation.
- THERE ARE ONLY 5 DAYS LEFT TO MEET OUR KICKSTARTER GOAL TO PURCHASE AN EQUIPMENT TRAILER AND WE'RE $700 AWAY! Please consider donating if you haven't yet. For $150 or more, you will be acknowledged on the side of our trailer once it's bought and painted. - Gahr High School Band and Color Guard is having a MATTRESS SALE Fundraising Event on Sunday, October 12th, 2014. It runs from 10am to 5pm at Gahr High School in the MPR! This is a great opportunity to raise money for the Band and Color Guard. We have a goal of $10,000.00 and it is ATTAINABLE!

6:45 p.m. Pre-game (Star-Spangled Banner & Fight Song MEMORIZED).
7:00 - 9:45 p.m. Game vs. California*
9:45 - 10:00 p.m. Walk back to Band Room, Put away equipment. Dismissal.
*The end time of a football game varies. The Gahr Marching Gladiators always stay until the end of the game to support our school and team. Please have your student call you for pick-up time or check our website/Facebook/Twitter for realtime updates.
