FLAG SEWING PARTIES!
We are having a flag sewing parties to finish all 96 flags for the color guard. Bring an iron and ironing board and prepare to “party hardy.” You don’t have to be just a guard parent to help!! This Tuesday is at 6:30PM and on Saturday we are meeting at 1:00PM. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!
LAS VEGAS UPDATE
We're less than 2 weeks away from our Las Vegas weekend performance! There is a mandatory Las Vegas Performance Trip meeting for all students and parents next Wednesday, October 26th at 6:30PM in the MPR. We will be going through important information including rules and procedures for students and chaperones. At this point all students and chaperones going on the trip with the band should be fully paid. Please keep in mind that this trip is important because all the students will be performing at an adjudicated marching band competition. BAND & COLOR GUARD PHOTO DAY 10/31
Band and Color Guard photo day is after school on Monday, October 31st. Students will change into full uniform immediately after school and we will take the group photo followed by individual/buddy photos. Payment must be submitted directly to the photographer at the time the photo is taken.
It is critical that any outstanding donations are turned into the drop box ASAP. We cannot pay our bills and instructional staff without your contribution. Please communicate with Mr. Loney if you have any issues with your financial obligation. Students must be caught up with donations to participate in the Las Vegas and Disneyland performance trips. FOOTBALL GAME AND 8TH GRADE BAND NIGHT MOVED
The last football game of the season vs. Dominguez HS has been changed to Thursday, November 3rd. Please update your calendars. We will move our full marching band rehearsal to Friday, November 4th from 3-5PM instead.
