
In order to pay for our camp instructors and the field show, a $125 Registration Donation is due the first day of camp (8/19). We cannot run camp without these funds, and it is critical that 100% of the payment is submitted so we can pay our instructional staff!
Band Camp Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow. Bring the following:
- Booster Membership Form - get your field show t-shirt!
- Parent Volunteer Form - let us know what you can help with!
- Authorization to Photograph
- $125 Band Camp Donation - check payable to "Gahr Band Boosters"
Read through the Band Camp Newsletter so you are prepared for the next two weeks. It contains important information about donations, fundraisers, rehearsals, performances, and expectations.
Students must have the following:
- 1-gallon water jug
- hat
- athletic clothing & tennis shoes
- sack lunch or $5 (click here for the lunch menu)
- equipment & materials
- a friend!! (this is the last chance to add new members before drill is written)
Students without these items will be sent home for safety reasons.
Wednesday morning (8/21) all marching band students have a special School Registration at 7:00 a.m. We will be meeting in the Band Room at 6:45 a.m. to go to the MPR as a group. DO NOT BE LATE OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER. Ignore your normal registration day by grade level.
There is a Mandatory Parent Meeting this Wednesday (8/21) at 6:30 p.m. in the Band Room (703). We will be distributing the Gahr Marching Gladiators Handbook, going through important changes in the program, and will have sign ups for tournaments, football games, and events.
Saturday (8/24) is our "Gahr Wash" at Gahr High School! Students have the option to pre-sell car wash tickets and keep 100% of the profit. All students must participate in the car wash. Students will be able to sign up for shifts on Thursday.
Remind a friend, hydrate today, and go to bed early. We're looking forward to a GREAT band camp and an AWESOME year!
