UNIFORM SEWING PARTY TUESDAY!
On Tuesday, August 29th we will be having a uniform sewing party from 6-8PM in the Drama Room (right next to the Band Room). We will teach you everything you need to know! No experience is required. See you there!
KICK-OFF BOOSTER MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY!
Come to our Booster Kick-Off Meeting this Wednesday, August 30th at 6:30PM in the Band Room! While fundraising is a major part of what the boosters do, it is not the sole purpose of the organization. Our band booster organization is one of the few ways you can be actively involved in your child’s high school education. We have a great group of booster parents, and meetings are welcoming, efficient, and fun!
2ND PAYMENT DUE THIS THURSDAY
The 2nd payment of $125 is due Thursday, August 31st in the Drop Box. Checks are made payable to "Gahr Band Boosters." If you are making a cash payment, please get a receipt from Mr. Loney before turning it into the Drop Box. You can also make a payment online here. We cannot pay our instructional staff or for field show competitions without your donation. Please communicate with Mr. Loney if you have any issues with your financial obligation. Thank you.
MARCHING BAND ORDERS DUE SEPTEMBER 1ST
If you are a new student (or a returner who needs a replacement item), complete the Marching Band Order Form and turn in payment. You may also order additional t-shirts, polos, hoodies, and jackets for friends and family. Winds, Battery, and Front Ensemble members need to have black Marching Band Shoes and a Gahr Marching Gladiators Hoodie. Everyone in the Color Guard is required to have jazz shoes, guard gloves, body tights, and the embroidered tracksuit. ALL ORDERS & PAYMENT ARE DUE THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST. Many of these items can be reused year after year if kept in good condition.

POPCORNOPOLIS UPDATE
We are still waiting on the shipment of Popcornopolis. We will most-likely be handing out orders for distribution after rehearsal on Tuesday evening. Thank you for your patience.
NORMAL 7TH PERIOD MARCHING BAND SCHEDULE
Rehearsals start on time, so use the restroom and change immediately after school. Make sure you bring dinner to eat before Tuesday night practices. The normal weekly practice schedule is as follows:
- Mondays 3:00-5:00PM
- Tuesdays 5:00-8:15PM
- Thursdays 3:00-5:00PM
- Fridays 3:00-4:15PM*
**Rehearsals start and end at the scheduled time. Please allow up to 15-20 minutes for students to put away equipment and walk back, depending on the instrument they play and the rehearsal location.

Hydrate and eat breakfast. Wear athletic clothes/shoes, hat. Bring water and $5/lunch.
