Thank you to everyone who bought tickets for Drum Corps at the Rose Bowl this Saturday June 30th! If you like watching marching bands, this will blow you away! If you did not get your pre-sale tickets yet, please meet Mr. Loney in the Gahr High School parking lot this Saturday at 2:30PM before the show. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CARPOOL WORKED OUT.

BAND CAMP NEWSLETTER
Please make sure you've read through the summer Band Camp Newsletter. This contains important information so you can be successful. Band Camp for all Battery, Front Ensemble, and freshmen winds starts Wednesday, August 1st. We add in Color Guard and returner winds on Monday, August 6th. All students MUST attend summer band camp to be admitted into the field show for the fall semester. We perform shortly after the school year starts, and it is very difficult to catch up after missing 100 hours of instruction! In order to pay for our summer instructors and field show materials, there is a $150 Band Camp Deposit due during the summer. We are unable to run the Band Camp without these funds. If you have difficulty making this donation, please speak to Mr. Loney ASAP.
Good work at the workshops last week. Please keep practicing your warm ups, exercises, and show music so you come back better than you left! In some sections we are still finalizing part assignments. Percussion Mini-Camp is July 9th & 11th from 1-8PM both days. Battery practices both blocks; however for Front Ensemble, the 1st block is mallets only 1-4PM and the 2nd block is all Front Ensemble 5-8PM.
HAWAII DEPOSIT DUE!

TWO GREAT WAYS TO RAISE MONEY:
- Field Show Program Ads - Earn 100% of the profit from all field show ad sales. The ad prices range from $25 to $175. Many local businesses are looking for ways to advertise to the community. Some parents have already sold over four ads for next year's program!
- Student Sponsorship Letter - 100% of the money sponsorships goes directly to your student account. These take a few hours to complete and mail out, but the return on investment is HUGE if you can make $400-500! This is a great way your family and loved ones can help support.
ATHLETIC CLEARANCE PACKET
All students must complete an Athletic Clearance Packet, available from Dulce Caldwell in the front office. As part of the clearance, students must get a physical exam (available for approximately $15 from the walk-in clinic across from Gahr HS that usually takes only 5-10 minutes). After June 29th, Dulce leaves for summer break and will not be back until school starts. If you do not complete an clearance packet, you will not be enrolled in band or color guard!
