Battery & Front Ensemble - We will see you for three Tuesday evening rehearsals - July 14th, 21st, and 28th from 6:00-8:30PM each of those days. If you are on vacation during any of these rehearsals, please email our Percussion Caption Head, Jimmy Madonia - firstname.lastname@example.org. After that, we will have an important Percussion Mini-Camp from August 3rd-5th from 8AM-5PM each day.
Everyone (Winds, Battery, Front Ensemble, and Color Guard) - We will see you for Band Camp starting Monday, August 10th! Practice what you learned at the Band, Percussion, and Color Guard Workshops so we can get off to a strong start.
*Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps will be our guests on campus this weekend. As always, be respectful and remember you are representing Gahr High School and the Instrumental Music Program.
*THE BAND ROOM, MPR, AND MPR RESTROOMS ARE OFF LIMITS THE ENTIRE WEEKEND. You may use the Drama Room to store equipment. DO NOT OPEN THE ADJOINING DOORS TO THE BAND ROOM OR STAGE. We will have the teacher restrooms open for you to use.
*YOU MUST BE QUIET AT ALL TIMES AROUND THE BAND ROOM, DRAMA ROOM, AND MPR. THE DRUM CORPS IS SLEEPING LATE ON BOTH DAYS. DO NOT PLAY OR WARM UP IN THE DRAMA ROOM OR ANYWHERE AROUND THE 700 BUILDING UNTIL MR. LONEY DIRECTS YOU TO.
*Try your khaki shorts on TODAY to make sure they fit! Mrs. Varney will not be able to exchange sizes for you the day of the concert. If you ordered a small polo shirt, they will not be here until after the Send-Off Concert.
*HYDRATE TODAY, TOMORROW, AND SUNDAY! We will be outside in the sun a lot for our rehearsals, the concert, and watching Phantom Regiment. You may wear a hat and sunglasses during rehearsals - but not during performances.
*Bring clothespins for your section to hold your music down.
