JAZZ BAND GIG THIS SATURDAY 5/4
This Saturday we have a gig at the Sheraton Hotel in Cerritos - 12725 Center Ct Dr S, Cerritos, CA 90703. We will be performing an hour of music and have after school practices on Thursday and Friday to finalize the set. Call time on Saturday is 4:00PM at the Sheraton in all-black concert attire with jazz ties. Please make sure you take all equipment, instruments, and music with you on Friday after the rehearsal.

We’re asking for donations to put together our annual gift basket raffle!! This year we will have FIVE fantastic, themed baskets. The winner of the Disney Star Wars basket will be drawn at the Gahr Area Concert on Wednesday, May 15th. The drawing for all the other baskets will happen at the End-of-Year Concert on Thursday, May 30th. Each student is responsible for donating at least ONE basket item. PLEASE DONATE ONE ITEM BY YOUR STUDENT’S SECTION:

We're gearing up for a fun and memorable adventure to the Aloha State! This will be Gahr's EIGHTH TIME traveling to Hawaii and will highlighted by a performance at the USS Bowfin, resting in the heart of the historic waters of Pearl Harbor and proving a symbolic connection from the “day which will live in infamy” to the formal ending of World War II. The band will also get a music workshop at the University of Hawaii!

2019-2020 STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Applications are now available for student who are interested in becoming student leaders for the 2019-2020 music program! We're gearing up for an incredible season and are looking for students with strong initiative who want to lead the Gahr Marching Gladiators to the next level. Students will need to schedule and complete a leadership sectional anytime beginning this Monday, April 29th. Make sure you schedule a date/time for the section you're working with AND Mr. Loney. Leadership Interviews are Friday, May 24th.
