Hawaii Performance Trip
From July 4-9, 2019, the Gahr Instrumental Music Program will embark on a 6-day, 5-night Performance Tour of “The Aloha State”, Hawaii! The trip will be highlighted by a performance on the USS Missouri Battleship, resting in the heart of the historic waters of Pearl Harbor and proving a symbolic connection from the “day which will live in infamy” to the formal ending of World War II. The Gahr High School Band will also get a music workshop at the University of Hawaii!
WorldStrides will be coordinating our travel, accommodations, and excursions for the trip. After the initial deposit, all payments will be made directly to WorldStrides. All insurance, refunds, and other questions should be directed to WorldStrides.
All winds, percussion, and color guard will be participating in this tour to represent Gahr High School for our EIGHTH time in Hawaii! Adults and alumni are welcome to attend with us. Alumni will be able to perform with the band under special conditions set by Mr. Loney.
